Hi everyone... Can anyone help with a client who would love extensions but does not want ANY type of human hair used!

I normally use Tasha jacks and buy hair as a quality option and a 'cheaper' option however now for the first time in 4 years I have a lady who wants another alternative.

I'm able to bond and make extensions but really haven't a clue what would be good to use... Has yaki hair still got some human hair in it too?

Her reason is ethical for not wanting human .. No matter where it comes from!

I've told her she will be limited with styling and that it so t look as good but still no change of mind... I remember our salon using pro styles about 10 yrs ago when no human hair was really around...

Any ideas anyone... Thanks for reading

Sorry i cant help with your question, never had a client want synthetic hair! So is yakie hair not real human hair then? a girl i know who does weaves uses this just wondered xx

Yaki is human hair and the term is used to describe the hair asif it's afro Caribbean that has been relaxed.
OP- have you tried Balmain? They do a range called (i think!) - 'dream hair' but its only micro rings not pre bonded xxx

How about ordering her some synthetic hair.. and doing custom clip in... all synthetic hair will eventually look like you over brushed your barbie one to many times!! ehh.... but the ability to take them out will hold off that process to some degree!

Use monofibre. Easy!

Balmain do a synthetic hair range called Hair Makeup, it's memory hair that can be styled with heated tools up to 160 degrees.
Its mainly clip in though but I guess you could use rings with the colour accents but it would take a lot of them for a full head which may work out a bit expensive. Although give them a call as they may do it in the wider strips by now.
They do a complete extension which is a clip in hair piece which fits at the back of the head, I've sold these to a few clients who didn't want human hair or to wear extensions at night and they really rate them.

I've seen other suppliers memory hair and it's been very shiny and not at all natural looking so request samples where you can before buying.

I'm not an extension specialist but my friend once used hair that was thermofibre* or something?

Basically heat resistant synthetic hair.. Lol don't quote me on the name though! :)

Xx
