CND acrylic white tip looks blue/purple

Hi geeks

just bought a CND retention L & p trial pack to try out before my CND conversion course. A few problems so far, some tiny bubbles which I know is a teething problem but when I blend zone 2 (pure pink sheer) into zone 1 (pure white opaque) over the white sculpted tip it turns a bluey purple colour . It looks quite like the colour of the monomer, what am I doing wrong ??

don't pull over too much, if the bead looks lilac the bead is to wet.

oh, right, yes it did look violet, will try to bear that in mind- thanks
