Please can you guys tell me what powders you use for a CND sculpted natural look? I have tried Soft white opaque and the natural powder, but neither give the natural free edge colour I was hoping they would, so I was curious if there was something else I was missing that would do the job.

i was told by Gigi 2 parts soft white 1 part flawless pink and a tiny bit of yellow HTH

Can I ask what colour is CND'S flawless pink? I can't see it in the catalogue, assume it's been renamed?

Flawless was the name for CNDs old coverage / opaque pink powder.

It has been replaced by their opaque skin tones collection which consists of Cool, Neutral and Warm coverage powders.

Oh thanks for that-so it doesn't matter whether I use cool, neutral or warm?

Hmm, as a replacement for Flawless in Gigi's recipe?.... Best to ask Gigi I think. I have no idea

Whoa ... I'm glad I saw this.

Yes flawless is being discontinued but you may still be able to get some if you ask your distributor. If not, then go for the neutral opaque powder in the place of the flawless and adjust from there if you need to add more of the soft white.

Thanks Geeg, that's good news as I already have the neutral:)

Mmm, this is going to be interesting,I have netural pink opaque and soft white , so if I have a play with the two together , I ll get a natural free edge colour.. .

start with my recipe quoted. and don't be so sceptical ... you've seen my posters ... thAT was my secret mix. :green:

Yes, I appreciate your recipe and its a great idea and thanks for sharing, but Im just a little disappointed , that one powder doesnt do the job for me,originally I brought the natural powder, but wasnt happy with the finished result ,was advised the soft white, still found it too white , now Im told to add some yellow..yet another powder to purchase!!

I think Im just going to use Performance tips for now and use a clear overlay...as much as Id rather be sculpting :), but if the tips give me that natural look for the moment, without extra expense then tips it will have to be for the time being, untill I put my next order in at CND... hopefully that wont be too soon as Ive so been overspending on nail stuff lately.

If you dont have the yellow try the pink and white it worked for me :) it does look alot more natural than the tips x

hey, this thread is from a while ago but i have just ordered flawless pink (requested by a client) from sweet squared and they have it on half price, if you still wanted some.

Yes and I also see you can now buy the yellow powder on its own so Im going to order some very soon and give Geegs mix a try at last.:)
