CND Nail Enamel - "Cashmere" (sp?)

Can anyone help?

I had a customer enquiry today from a lady who is looking for a bottle of Cashmere (sp?) which is/was a Creative colour. It's not in the catalogue and I rang S2 today who told me that it was discontinued a while back and there is no stock left.

The lady who wants this colour is ringing me back later to find out if I can get any, so I'd like to be able to offer her an alternative. I've never seen a bottle of Cashmere so I cant relate it to any of the current shades.

Does anyone remember this colour? Is it similar to any of the current CND shades? Is there a similar shade by another brand? Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated

Calla, I looked at the link you posted, and if the colour on the site is anything to go buy it looks like a cross between cinch my corset (another discontinued one - what are Creative playing at???!!!) and Family Secret. I wonder what would happen if I mixed those two colours? hmmmm.......

usually if CND discontinue an emamel i thought is was because there were newer similar colour that is available.....i had this when i was looking for insomnia....it is nearly exactly the same as okey dokey artichoke may be a tad more golden but i doubt a client would notice it to be honest

Okey Dokey Artichokey is another discontinued one!

I realise that sometimes a colour is discontinued and another same/similar replaces it, but not always. For example, Heiress has been discontined, but another similar one isnt available. There are other purples available, but I wouldnt say any of them are similar. I realise that colours have to come and go, but it always seems to be my favourites that are discontinued!! Blue Blood is another of my faves that's been finished. They'll be discontinuing spike and nail noir next!!

oooh, p.s - and dont even get me started on U.V dry!!!!:lol:

From what I understand when I last visited what used to be the Leigh CND academy CND are cutting their polishes down to 40 colours. Someone tell me I am wrong PLEASE!!! Already discontinued are Pulse, VIP status which are fab glittery christmas colours.

thankfully another geek helped me out with these though.

Yeah that colour is fab. I am quite lucky in that I still have a few of the discontinued ones.
