Hi Guys:Love: I was just wondering if anyone else finds the opaque powders harder to use then the sheer powders?? It maybe just me because I have only been doing nails since January!!!! I was told to use the same mix parts but it seems to set quicker!!!;)

Tracie xx

I found that I had a harder time getting the same mixratio as I was working way to dry, so I had bubbles, problems with it setting to fast etc.

What I did was sit down and practice on tips, I don't know why I suddenly worked to dry, maybe because you can really see the bead sucking up the monomer so scared of working to wet I was working to dry. I actually brushed off the god old : going going gone, and use it all the time. Now I have no problems at all... (lurve my CND)

The opaque powders work a little more like the white powder ... so adjust your mix so that it feels creamy (not runny).

Thanks Karen thought I was going mad!!! I have been practising,So it is a case of keep doing that until I get it right. The opaques are lovely colours so I can't wait to get them perfect!!!! xxxxxxx

Thanks Geeg, I will keep having a play around,Think I am working too dry at the moment xx

You must also layer the beads so that one overlaps the other like roof tiles.

Place your bead in zone 2 and run it out till thin towards zone 3. Then do your zone 3 bead and pull it slightly over the thin area of the zone 2 bead. The finish will be lovely and no 'tide marks'. Enjoy

Oh thanks for the advice, I will try the over lapping next time!!! x

You really must overlap and get that technique down pat or you will have marbling of the beads and it will show and look dreadful.
