Am I right in saying that natural performance tips don't need any blending at all? Obviously, you don't blend white tips but is this so with the natural ones if they are performance? this is too good to be true if I can just put the l&p straight on without blending?

No need to blend - just lightly buff to remove the shine.

When you apply the tips you're going to pass oils on from your fingers to the tips surely?
I haven't read the thread link but I would say to lightly buff over the tip before applying product.
