Love the pink! But why the high lift tint on the ends? X

Client wanted white ends (or close to), a test swatch with 10/1 didn't make it clean enough, so I went to high lift tint rather than hit the bleach xx

Bleach probably would have been better for the condition you only needed to lift some yellow out from a 9 to a 10 x

Really? I was always taught bleach should be the last resort, but always grateful for feedback.
Xx

Sorry yes the reason I said that is the same answer colour girly has given bleach and pastel even would of lifted that it was already very light was really no need for the high lift x

Highlift tints are full of ammonia to lighten Virgin hair upto 5 levels. You just need a gentle cleanse with a low peroxide to get the yellow out.

Don't listen to 'use bleach as a last resort' if the client needs bleach - then she needs bleach!

Bleach is a great product, only dangerous if use in the wrong way.

Thanks both for your feedback, I will definitely bare that in mind for future colours, I was worried it wouldn't lift clean enough with bleach, im a big fan of a slow lift with bleach but I was trying to be cautious by resorting to high lift thinking it would be kinder. I was pleased with the outcome of both colour and condition but you're right, the bleach would have been on for half the time with lower peroxide too so I shouldn't have doubted myself.
Thanks for the advice, always grateful xx

No before but this is from a 10/93 and 12%

I did a colour correction this morning, the before doesn't really show the extent but this poor client was given this "before " look by an experienced stylist, there was a clear banding, and highlights only placed at the root, aswell as patchy orange tones. I blended the ombre so it was much softer and got rid of the patchy highlights, using a chocolate based 4 and 8.1 to tone the orange
