Colour help please

I have a client who has been having her hair dyed with semi permanent wella colour touch 6 dark blonde with a semi colour touch 4% 13 vol emulsion for about 18 months. Over time this colour has got darker on her hair looks more like a 4 or darker and she needs something better for covering grey. But as I was away she decided to buy permanent wella koleston 6 with wella welloxon developer 6% 20 vol. she now has gingery roots and the rest is still dark. I was thinking of getting a number 5 but she doesn’t want hair as dark anymore as grey roots stands out more against the dark hair. I then suggested some highlights to break it up but she doesn’t want too as she wants a warm brown with maybe some red. I have not had a client mess up colours before but I guess this one wanted it done yesterday. Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance
