hi any help will be appreciated,im very interested in becoming a nail tec,i'd like to learn how to do gel nails first, after reading so many diff reviews i thought that would be the easiest to learn and start off, was wondering if any1 have done their training with top talons recently they offer a day course which sounds great:lol: i'd much prefer 2 do a course in a class where a tutor is there for any problems that may arise,i have read some reviews about it on ere and the result wasn't much good but that was posted back in 2004,have their courses got better? if not can any1 recomend where is good to go and do training in a class, thanks

I personally haven't heard of Top Talons so I can't comment on any courses they offer. You're better off training with a reputable company so you don't get ripped off - there's so many threads on this site about people paying an awful lot of money out only to get shabby training in return - and then having to pay out more money to do the training they should have opted for in the first place.

I initially did nail training as a unit in my nvq3 course in beauty therapy but it was pointless, I didn't learn much and what I have since discovered is, what I did learn was wrong!! I opted for training with Creative, they also do brisa gel so they may well have a course for you. If you do a search of the site for reputable companies you will find tons of good advice. Good Luck

Just to add - the education ambassadors for Creative are always there for you even after you have completed your training, and the girls and guys at sweetsquared are second to none

thanks for the reply,i rang the company and the information they give seemed very good, ive read alot about creative but unfortunatly they dont do any of the courses in my area they only do 4 or 5 day courses further afield which if is was for a day i wouldnt mind travelling for it but for the amount of time they do it would not be possible, thanks anyway:lol:
