Correcting/perfecting polish application

Hi geeks,
Just a quick question regarding using nail fresh to correct polish mistakes.
Is it better to do it when the polish is still wet or wait till it is dry?
I know its better not to make mistakes in the first place but not getting much time to practise at the moment. Going to borrow some willing fingers tomorrow night to have a go but thought id ask you lot too.

I find it works better if the polish is wet, so if i make a mistake i correct immediately, hth
