Hiya,

I am currently using Nsi Gel and loving them, however, they don't seem to have a coverage gel. I have really short nails and would like to try a coverage gel on them. What I am wondering is if I can use another coverage gel with my Nsi gels? ie. Nsi bonder, then coverage gel then Nsi builder? Any advice would be great. Thanks.

i use nsi aswell and i wish they did a coverage gel, hint hint:green:.
anyway i made my own using builder radiant pink and brush on white gel.if you try this make sure you only add the tiniest amount of white at a time.
i have some pictures im ny album of my thimb nail which i cracked at the side by the stress area the next photo is one layer of the coverage gel and then i used clear builder to build up the apex etc..
hths.xx

Hiya,

Thanks for that info, I was wondering about doing that! I tried to find the pic in your gallery but could not see it. How much pink to white would you use? ie. 1 part white 3 parts pink? Thanks:confused:

If you do still want to buy a coverage gel, Akzentz do one from nails plus beauty....its a non soak off gel and comes in warm and cool...I use warm.

these are the pictures i was refering too.
i didnt measure my mix ratio as i just kept adding what i needed to get the coverage i wanted i.e pink or white. i used hardly any white as i used my dotting tool to pick it up rather than my brush but i used my brush for the pink.good luck and i hope this helps.xx

Thanks for the replies Tracey Louise, I will try that. xx

Bagpuss, wouls I still be able to use Nsi bonder and Builder with the Akzentz coverage gel? Thanks xx

Does anyone know if the same will work for the powder? i.e. use radiant pink powder and add a little white to custom blend a coverage powder? Nsi have a pink mask but i don't like it...

im not sure as ive never tried it so the only way to find out is to give it a go yourself. just try a small amount in a seperate pot so incase it doesnt work so you have wasted lots of product.x

don't see why not...just sandwich the coverage gel in between your NSI gels.

this is how i applied my coverage gel as i didnt want it to look to false by using too much of the coverage gel i had made.x
