Crystal Nails HELP!!!!

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what Crystal Nails are? I had a client come in yesterday I soaked her enhancements off and her natural nails were terrible. She stated that the nails enhancements were called Crystal Nails. She said that they paint glue on and dip the nail then the paint the glue on again and dip again and then she finished off with an air brush white tip. The natural nail had the same exact look as one that was damaged by MMA. (hooked-on-nails.com has a picture.)

sounds like your client had tip and dip nails. a search will bring up plenty of info on that.

crystal nails is just one of the terms that many nss salons use to lead people to believe that they are getting something special.
if it was an nss job, its highly likely that the damage was done by over filing the nail plate as this eliminates the time for a proper careful prep and helps inferior quality products to adhere better.
