I'm looking to add to my collection I would like to start experimenting with Custom blending but am not sure what powders to get , I have Pure pink, Clear, pure white and neutral pink opaque, I've read about flawless pink as a base in recipies but cant see it in the catalogue ? Can somebody give me some advice about what colors to buy to start me off ? All help would be greatly appreciated

You have the NEUTRAL opaque .. all you need is the WARM opaque and the COOL opaque to satisfy all. The smallest you will need is the cool as there are fewer true cool skin toned people.

Forget Flawless; it is no longer made as the new powders are premixed for you. You can still add to the new opaque colours if you feel the desire or need to but I never have to be honest.

If I can ask a quick question, Geeg, if flawless is no longer made, how would you make your "natural nail" powder? I mixed up quite a bit last year, but am now running low, and as said, flawless is no longer available. Sorry to hijack the thread!

I'm glad you asked beacause that's what i was hoping to custom blend x

YOU JUST BUY 'NEUTRAL' NOW PREMIXED from CND.

If you mean you still have allot of Flawless to use up then I would tend to use the same mix as the warm but with less melting pot.

Flawless with white (2x1) and then melting pot until you get the colour you want.

Perhaps buy a small jar of the Neutral Opaque and copy it.

Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't clear enough. I meant the mix of soft white, flawless and yellow, made to look like natural FREE EDGE. My apologies!

Oh!! duh!! I read natural for neutral!

I think you could substitute the neutral powder for the flawless and maybe try a touch more of the yellow with it BUT you will have to experiment. I still have a bagful of flawless and am still using that. Sorry for the confusion and getting your question wrong.

No biggie. And I guess I'll give that a go, just thought I'd ask in case you'd already figured it out lol
