Hi guys,

What else can be used to nourish and soften the cuticles/nails if the client has no cuticle oil? I thought that sweet almond oil, olive oil avocado oil, peach kernal oil...

Why don't you retail them Solar Oil??

It's my undertanding that traditional oils aren't fine grade enough to penetrate in the same way that Soalr Oil does so will sit on top of the skin instead.....

Again: nothing against solar oil.

I do make my own cuticle oil. I buy pure cold pressed oils... and I pay a pretty penny for them. They retail very well and I have clients asking for me to retail them bigger bottles because they've started using them for everything under the sun.

Anyway, that said 'jojoba' (PURE!) is a wonderful oil. Almond oil is good too BUT must be pure cold pressed. These are ingredients found in solar oil.

So, if your client has nothing on hand but those, I see no problem with them personally if she's choosing not to purchase a good cuticle oil.

but, why not retail some oil yourself?
