Cuticle remover causing yellow staining

I'm currently using INK's cuticle remover which is great but today I used it on a client and it turned her fingers a very bright yellow. It hasn't happened before however it did happen a few times to another client when I was using a salon system cuticle remover .

It's very strange . What could be causing it ?
