My dad had an abnormal result from a bowel screening home test kit. Took him for a procedure today (camera) and we were told he has cancer.
We are still in shock but wondered if anyone had any experience what might be a comfort at all?
He has had no symptoms so am hoping that this means it is in the early stages. All we have been told that he will need surgery and also a scan to see if it has spread.
I guess i am hoping someone will come on and say that their dad had it and is ok? I suppose it's human nature!
