Hi Guys, i'm new to the site (well new to posting, but i'm often on here having a nose!) I'm a mobile spray tan technician using Fake Bake products, which i seem to get on ok with. Lately i've been getting asked for darker tans as Fake Bake Darker isn't enough for some of my ladies.

I've just got a sample of LA Tan Disco and was gonna try it out on my friend next week - she's going away for the weekend and doesn't mind being dark. Does anyone know how dark this actually is, as i don't wanna ruin her weekend?! Or any other products on the market that offer dark tans?

Thanks...

Have you looked at tantricks 18% www.wowproducts.co.uk, I have seen this in action a couple of weeks ago. Its very dark not a hint of orange. I would say go lightly on the grab areas but otherwise cant fault it. And if you want dark it will defo give you dark.

And if you want it even darker than 18% add some of the booster drops that are available to compliment this range

i have used the la tan disco. it was very dark but i loved it ans so did the 4 clients who had it. It was a bit scary though whilst it took......... i looked like a bourbon biscuit with eyes and teeth!!

I trialed the LA Disco recently and although it was a nice colour (I used it on a fair blonde lady), we found that it didn't last very long and faded patchy.

Compared to my UnReal 12% on the same lady, it wasn't really much darker and UnReal looks good for easily 10 days and fades beautifully... needless to say, LA Disco is not going into my kit.

I'm still searching for a darker tan that has the same performance level as UnReal.

i love la disco and so do my clients although most only get it for a night out etc as they think its a little dark for every day wear.

i also found that you can give someone quite a light spray to make it a bit lighter or give them a few coats to make them really dark. there is no orange in sight although i have never used it on very pale or light haired clients.

On myself it lasts perfectly for around 6 days then starts to go a little patchy on hands and inner arms but i go to the gym alot and never remember to moisturise so 6 days is quite good as i get this with any tan i use. xx
