Hi there everyone, i am starting up my small beauty room and am wanting a facial range, without forking out too much of a set up fee.
I love dermalogica and feel 100% when i am using it, i have considered othe rbrands but ive not used anything other than decleor.
I worked with dermalogica in my previous salon and im sure my boss said that you must be registered with dermalogica to use/trade it!?? Obviously i have been trained within the dermalogica acadamy, but i dont know if i can register without forking out the $4000 set up cost (sorry american keyboard setting) id rather buy bit by bit, or not at all.

Does anyone know about this?
Or can anyone chat about the range you use maybe?

Thankin you!x

I'm afraid most of the high-end salon ranges involve setting up a professional account & sometimes entail quite heavy start up costs, which gives you training, professional products & retail. For this some offer exclusivity in that area, such as Decleor, but I'm not sure about Dermalogica as everyone & their dog seem to use them within the same street. I suppose the thinking is that they would like anyone using the range to be able to treat all skin types, and thus require you to have the full range of products for all eventualities.

I use SwissDermyl and they have no minimum start up costs, nor minimum order value. The products are second to none and their support is fabulous!

Hi,
I use Dermalogica in my salon and yes I can tell for sure that you need to purchase the WHOLE range (professional & retail products) in order to open an account with them. You also get lots of support, training, visits from the rep, promotional material etc.

If you use the Search function above there are many threads that have debated this very subject, also some of the good points and bad points as people see them for Dermalogica.

I use Intitute of Esthederm. It is brilliant! Never heard anything bad ever about it. look for them in google.

Hi, why not have a look at Swissdermyl - just right for starting out as there's no minimun order and the guys that run it are incredibly helpful.
