Hi,
I have been doing gel for a while using NSI balance and simply nails traditional gel with white tips. They lasted really well although i found the NSI always seemed to be cloudy and i couldn't get the finish clear to be shiny, Don't know why!
I decided to take them off to give my nails a rest and my nails are now terrible, they are all flaking and are as soft as paper. Could this be over buffing or could it be that the gel didn't suit my nails, or could it be the glue from the tips. None of my client's have had this problem other than my Mum. My nails are normally quite weak.
I am now just starting to use Young Nails L&P and don't know whether to try on myself or will i just make my nails worse, should i give my nails a long break, although they look awfull.
Any advice greatly received.
