Hi guys!
I am setting myself up self employed and want to specialise in waxing. Can't decide to buy either a double wax heater or just go for two singles? Ideally would like two 1litre buckets but can't seem to find a double with this capacity. Any recommendations for wax pots that are easy to transport/ least likely to spill?

When I done mobile I just had a single wax heater and it worked fine i would hear it before I went and put the lid on and kept it up stable while I drove.

I'm now at a salon and still just use a single wax heater in each room, i personally don't think you will need a double wax heater especially for mobile work as you will find you won't go through your wax that quickly. We do a lot of waxing here but still don't need fill the wax pots up too often.

I need one for hot wax & one for strip though?

Get one heater with two inner steel pots :)

I've just bought a double heater from Beauty Express, one side is 1000cc and the other 500cc. Have used this model before and is excellent.

I have 2 separate ones, both by Hive which have lockable lids. I don't keep them full to the brim.

I also put them in a basket type carrier (they get fairly jammed in on purpose) & the basket gets strapped in with a seatbelt.

Thankfully no mishaps!

I'd go with two heaters. Double ones are handy but if you're only doing a leg wax or a bikini you'll only need one heater instead of lugging around a double. If you only have one pot with two steel pots to change around you'll be in a bit of a pickle if someone wants a leg and a bikini you won't have time to reheat the second pot.

Yeah I think I'm going to go with two separates! Thanks for all your help!

I have 1. Use a roller for strip and wax pot has hard wax in it

Two separates are better. If you get a double and it breaks then you're left without a heater unless you buy a spare.

^^^^^ exactly what I was just going to post KrissKross :)
