Hi geeks,
I'm having such a drama with dyeing Sjk weft.. Everything I've tried seems To come
Out totally wrong..
I have col 27 extensions I want to dye tops darker so will look like a dip dye.
My hair is 7/34 ish.
Argh nothing works. So any advice would be amazing! I've spent sooo much time and
Money strand testing. I phoned a local salon to see if they could dye my hair then the extensions to match as I'm losing the will to live.. But thought I'd post here
One last time.
Top left pic is my extensions, right is me now.bottom is ideal colour for my hair/ dye top of extensions.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Hun, dyeing hair extensions is a very tricky process for those who haven't had experience in this field, hair extensions have quite often been through lots of previous chemical processes meaning that the dye will sometimes not take to the hair or alter the colour significantly and sometimes the hair texture can change..please visit a specialist hair extension salon that specializes in dyeing hair extensions before you damage them permanently xxx

I trained as a hairdresser 10yrs ago. Worked in a salon for a year But then went into theatrical wig making which I've done ever since.
So Since then I've dyed friends hair and my own hair, also human hair wigs. I Also did a hair extension course last year.
So unfortunately I don't have a vast knowledge of colour. Especially with reds/ coppers as I've always tried to avoid those colours for myself! But i decided to have a colour change this summer. And now would love my extensions to match.. It's So much easier being blonde sometimes!
