Dyeing hair extensions?

Hi there.. just jumping over to hair for advice.
i have about 6 pks of clip in extentions and was.wondering if its ok to dye them to match my new colour? dark brown to plum.

You can try but chances are it won't work. The hair will already have underwent harsh processing and the colour may not take

I dye my extensions. I can't get exactly the colour I want otherwise. I use colour 8 hair and then dye it the colour I use on my natural gait and it come out exactly the same colour.
Wouldn't do it on a client but always do it on my own x
