Hi everyone, I have recently started at a salon as a nail tech. They use Edge products (im used to using EZ Flow). Anyway, I am having trouble with lifting! Some even pop off completely very easily!!

For application, I have been told to do the following.... use sanitizer spray, (this is not an Edge product). I am told it santizes and also dehidrates the nails. Then prep the nails, ie push cuticles back, remove shine. Apply the foils for sculpting. Apply primer twice. Finally apply l&p. Finish by filing.

I cant understand where I am going wrong. I am being careful not to get it on to the skin, filing properly etc. Any ideas anyone? If I use the old NSI products I dont seem to have a problem. I have used this before. The salon manager does not want me to use the NSI as she says it is expensive and wants me to use just the Edge products. Does anyone else have a problem with this product, is it application? Should I be using a bonder as well, I have been told it is not needed. With EZ Flow (my own products as I was mobile) I use both a bonder and primer. :irked:

yes i would say that you need a dehydrator type product like ezbond by ezflow or scrubfresh my creative. They not only sanitise the nail plate they also dehydrate, as well as showing up any areas you have left shine.xx

Creative,NSI, ezflow, etc. In my personal opinion are top quality products and when you use top quality products you don't have so many problems.
If you find that you don't have these problems when you use NSI or ezflow but you do when you use edge products then I am inclined to say that logically its not you its the product. I've never used edge products so I don't know if it requires a bonder and primer but it doesn't help that you haven't been trained specificly to use this product line. Do they have a web site that you can check to see what they say you should be doing for your prep?
