sorry guys, I have done a search but couldnt find anything, after a bit of advice

I always wear enamel on my toes , and have never had any problems, I can wear it for ever too lol, if I use base and top coat, I find it stays on for weeks and weeks, until finally it chips, and I have to redo

Now about 9 days ago, I decided to paint them again, and I used stickey base coat, CND hyde in the park, with a glitter over then super shiney top coat, they looked fab, and its lasted brilliantly, then yesterday I took my shoes off when we came in, so I could get changed and I noticed one toenail had no enamel left at all, it was totally bare! then when I washed my feet, I realised another one was bare, the enamel in whole piece in the sink? like the whole thing had peeled off my nail?, so i literally ran my fingers over the edges (remember i have no fingernails at the mo, so couldnt even pick at them, if i wanted) and all bar 2 came away easily in whole pieces, had to give other 2 quick scrub with nail brush and voila 10 bare nails!

Has anyone got any ideas, why the enamel has come away whole, I have never ever seen this before, obviously I am using good products too, so I'm a bit concerned, incase its something I've done wrong without knowing, I would be devastated if this happened to a client.

thanks in advance:hug:

Did you by any chance forget to squeak the nail before painting? It's the only thing I can think of..

must have been some kind of barrier/coating on the nail...

Wow that is so strange...I have had it myself on one nail perhaps but not all of them...

I cannot give a professional explanation but my daughter has a (childs) nail polish that does that!!!!!!
