What nail file (grit and brand) do y'all prefer for the shine removal before enhancement application?

240 Koala buffer (CND)

Never 'etches', solely for removing the natural shine.
Anything more than a 240 and you start to remove nail plate.

Same as Sandi, a 240 Koala. Occasionally I will use a well worn 180 on toenails but never on fingers.....

Any soft file or buffer that is 240 grit or higher. I use the Koala too. White blocks are not recommended as they actually absorb oils and moisture as you use them and are impossible to sanitize.
