Hey geeks :)

Just a little query, hoping some1 out there can help. Lol. I have noticed alot of salons are starting to offer Express/Party Nails, very similar to broadway nails that can be bought in any chemist or that. Just wondering where do i start to get them, wanting to offer them in my salon. Who would the supplier be or where can i buy them in bulk from? xxx

Assuming that the nails you are talking about are Weekend Nails, I think the easiest way is to use some white tips and cover with a thin layer of gel, they look more professional than the chemist variety and i believe its cheaper to buy the tips than fork out for the full nails that the chemist/boots sell, also the clients think they are getting a better treatment, as with the other nails they often think - i could do these myself!

Thats great help. Thanks hun :) xxx

hi zoe i do them with popitts ,check out the group on here, use different coloured tips, will do glitter for proms .the great thing is there is very little to do once you take the poppitt of

Maybe another way could be something like tip and dip ie Backscratchers extreme glaze?

Depending on what products you currently use, you could do any one of the following:

White tip with thin clear overlay (gel or acrylic with a poppit (more acurately called a Dual System Form)
Clear Full Tip, Airbrush or hand-painted french, white or coloured
Natural Full Tip, painted
Full Tip, hand-painted or aibrushed

eBay has an enormous selection of coloured tips, clear, natural and even white full tips and pre-design glue-on nails (like the chemist ones).

Have fun ! ! !

what is a poppit?

Love this idea - I just placed an ad for a couple of models to try this out on with the thin gel. How much do you think it would be fair to charge? I charge £25 at the moment for my gel as I only qualified end of last year but am thinking of putting it up to £30 next month as they are looking and lasting really well. Do you think about £15 for Party Nails seems about right?

Thanks
Sharon xx
