Facebook-disgusting!

The trouble is people comment on the photos/ videos which then comes up in your news feed. I hide all the nasties from my feed if they appear!!

I absolutely abhor facebook and thats before I even knew about this! God knows what kids are seeing on there then?! I know you're supposed to be 13 to set up an account (which is still young) but there are kids in my 11 year old son's class who have had accounts since they were 9 as their dimwit parents set it up for them! My 16 year old daughter hasn't been on facebook for about a year as she got fed up with all the bragging posts about who's going where with whom etc. I have her password so could check her account at any time and was shocked that there were 15 year old girls in her school year posting nearly naked pictures of themselves in provocative poses under the pretence "just woken up"! But if kids are seeing these porno and child abuse things all over the site so easily they really will become desensitised in the end. I think it's a sad and shocking indictment of how sexualised are world is today.

GNo one on my friends list was looking at child porn actually. It was a comment on a post saying report this profile. I copied and pasted the profile name to see what it was I was to be reporting (it dod not state what it was, just said report it) And unfortunately I whitnessed a crime (images I won't discuss) there is no way I would have a friend who was looking at child porn. but as it popped up to report it that profile could of been seen bye anyone. I won't delete my Facebook as I use it for my business. X

Waffle4, it's good to hear people do protect there children. Some parents don't care and some are oblivious to what's happening now a days.

Luckily for me I don't have facebook, havnt had it for about 2years now and boy I'm glad if this is what's going on.

My friend who has it said on his news feed its like videos of basically porn and people doing sick things with animals!

I wonder if something has hacked in onto the site maybe?

What if one of your clients like a disgusting picture, it comes up on your newfeed! And you cant delete them.. X

I just report these posts, each and every one. If one if these "like this page because this man killed this do with his shovel" things come up I google it and report it to hoax slayer who work with FB to get rid of these things

Yeah true but just have Normal clients lol or go to their profiles and choose not to see what they post or like. U can do that xx

There are some absolutely awful ones! And I cant believe people are stupid enough to like it.
'Like this picture (of a dying child) and type 123 or you don't love your kids'

By commenting underneath.how disgusting it is actually makes it worse, they want people to do that so it goes viral. I have a business page so I don't see what my clients post, and that kinda stuff never pops up on my personal account.

I don't like random pages and never accept anyone that I don't know, it's the new Facebook layout that means we can see what other people, who we're not even friends, with are posting.
If one of my friends comments on a video etc to say its disgusting or whatever then it appears in my newsfeed...

I don't understand how Facebook works but surely if pervs are posting illegal videos they can be traced? Does Facebook have their own moderators? Why are the pervs not scared of getting caught?

We'll considering its only me and two toddlers in my house I highly doubt it's come from any of us watching it, these are the type of videos people are sharing now on Facebook it's disgusting and because of the new layout when a friend comments on one of these things (usual to say how disgusting it is and to take it off or whatever) then it comes up in my newsfeed, it's stomach- turning!

Lol probably not then! I have never had this on Facebook - sounds awful!
