I had a facial during the week at a spa and the therapist used a camera attached to a laptop for skin analysis. O my god it showed up every line pore and blemish:irked: Does any one know what this camera is called and do any of ye geeks use one?

Could it have been a woods lamp, the more expensive ones have a camera attached to them. How did it show the lines and blemishes? If they were a series of coloured spots/patches on the screen it would be a woods lamp.

Other than that, I don't know. I don't use any equipment for skin analysis. I prefer to see and touch the skin and ask my client questions to make my analysis.

Maybe some other geeks have used some other equipment though and know what this machine is.

I saw exactly the same thing at the excel show a few years ago. Cant help you hun as I cant remember what it was called. It was a really good bit of equipment though.
Has the salon got a website? It may have details on there? xxx
