Fake Bake - Body Tanning/Spray Body Tan whats the difference?

Hi,

At my college they are running some one day classes and there are two for Fake Bake:

• Fake Bake Spray Body Tan
• Fake Bake Body Tanning

As a complete novice to tanning what is the difference in these two? Is it worth my while to do both courses? I did search on here and on the Fake Bake website and couldn't find anything to help me. Apologies if I am repeating whats already been discussed before.

hi

i've done both the spray tan courses. i'm guessing the body tan will be the manual lotion tan. it was just called lotion course when i done it. and the spray will be the booth tan done by a therapist

Thanks for your reply, yeah I wondered if one was applied by hand and the other as it says spray. I'm just thinking whether to do both. Its skills week at college and there are different courses you can book on and I'd rather learn something else as opposed to learning 2 different techniques to applying tan.

If we are right that one is hand applied other is spray which of the 2 would you geeks recommend?

Also how do people rate Nouveau Lashes against other brands? thats another course on offer and I'm really keen but I was gonna do Flirties with LoubyLou eventually.

Carron is correct that one is manually applied and the other is sprayed on. As to which you should choose it rather depends on which you would like to offer in your salon. For instance I chose to go with the manually applied tan as it lasts longer and it appeals to a different demographic over the spray tans. Also, I don't have room to have a spray booth!
I think the manually applied tans last longer, personally.
