Hi, just wondering, can you do shellac on a shop bought false nail? I have a client who wants a French polish for a wedding but has a badly bruised nail, so I'm trying to think of alternative ideas x
I haven't done this on a client as of yet but when I first started doing shellac I myself had really short not so nice looking nails and didnt think it was good self advertisement so I put false nails on with shellac on top and it was absolutely fine, the shellac lasted until the nails came of.
I've done this a few times and it's worked really well. The only thing is to make sure the false nail isn't too pink and too white. the more natural they look, the better!
