How did I do it, well rhinestones would be good and I would use them the same way but these were a bit easier. I got the holodiscs on a strip (Star Nails from Sallys). I did it backwards (I already had my set on that I did last week) but you can work out when to do it when you know what is on top (if you know what I mean) I buffed down smooth taking out the white, placed the strips on the nail, then painted on the white gel (in the bottle) cured, covered the complete nail (checking apex) in clear, cured, buffed then top gloss.
The strip of holodiscs does keep the white in place, rhinestones might let it leak through if you don't get your 10 second blast done quick enough.
