I did my gel training with Star Nails a few years ago & havn't done much since then,[lack of confidance] so I thought I'd give it another go, this time using Faze & trying my hand at sculpting. I'm practicing on the nail trainer. When extending the length of my own nails,[from short to med length] how do I discuise the free edge, I can still see this under the white gel. If I use a larger ball of gel it just runs.Should I be doing 2 thinner layers.

The Faze white gel is a very soft white. 2 coats might give a bit more coverage.

Either remove the free edge and then sculpt, or use a more opaque white such as More Than White brush-on liquid Acrylic.
