Ive only recently qualified but i havn't had any major disasters until yesterday, I did my first set of nails (tip & gel) on a nail biter and they were awful!! I feel terrible all i can think about is what she must have thought about them when she got home! Never thought you could get this wound up over a set of nails!:irked:

Awww have a .....doing a nail biter for your first set is tough hun....my first set was on a nail biter and they looked ok-ish but as she was helping me pack my things up 2 just pinged right off her nails....i just wanted to disappear.

It will all come together with practice....as long as people knowing you are new to this and practising (for a price i hope...always charge something) then they know what to expect.

What gel do you use and who did you train with..?

Awwww bless you

You know we are our worst critics....and I am sure they were not even remotely as bad as you think they were...

Nail biters are a challenge....I am one myself ....so don't worry about it, you have got over your first hurdle....

Learn from it and move onto the next one....xxxxxxxxxxxxx

well she is a friend of a friend so i didnt charge her much and she knew id never done bitten nails before, (and they were really bitten hardly any nail plate) But even i thought id do a better job than what i did! I did think of asking her to be a sort of guinnea pig as shes the only person i know that bites their nails so i could get a bit of practice before doing it for proper clients do you think thats a good idea or not? her nails can only get better haha!

Dont beat yourself up hun....she was pleased she go a set of nails for hardly anything, she was helping her friend out, nail bitters are the worst so be proud of the fact that you even tried them xxxxxxx

youve just gotta get in as much practice as possible. make sure she comes for her infill, biters can sometimes need to come every week or so to start with as their nails grow faster and also because of the lack of nail plate, you dont want them to get too long and unbalanced. :D
