Hi there, I woud appreciate any feedback on how I am going here, this is my first set using glitter. I love the info I get from this site and always looking for ways to improve so thought i may as well submit a critique! cheers :)

Hi, the colour is very subtle and elegant, i like them, the only thing i cant really see properly is the apex, the pic makes them look sort of flat, maybe that is just the way the pic shows it?? Nice one for posting though, its always scarey, lol. I hope to see more of your work.

thanks so much for the reply - they are probably too flat, this is one area i am trying to work on as apex placement wasn't even mentioned in my training unfortunately. i will be working on it and submitting more critiques in future - any tips would be much appreciated!
 
When doing the free edge hold your brush at an angle so that the brush is pointing up at a 45 degree angle, then place zone 2 with your brush almost flat and then zone 3 with your brush pointing down at a 45 degree angle, make sure that you blend in the bead placements to the natural nail as you dont want to see the join lines, thats how i get my apex placement, have a go and see what works best for you.
