Im having ratio problems using flawless..
Im pretty certain thats what it is anyway.. i am doing my normal routine.. but im finding lines in zone 2..

now im not sure if its placement of ball or i need to tweak the ratio, but believe me if i have a doubt about the consistency i get rid of the ball.. im wasting product and getting extremely frustrated that what i think is the perfect ball and placement is turning out not so!

I follow the tutorials on here so im aware of placement and ratio.. but i just cant seem to get flawless.. FLAWLESS!!!
help if you can please x

Hi, i used to get this too, and then someone told me to place balls in zone 2 and 3 like a "roof tile", as in overlapping and hey presto, no more lines in zone 2!! Are you mixing flawless with perfect pink? My mix is 1 part flawless to 2 parts perfect pink, not sure if this has anything to do with it. Oh and working fast between zone 2 and 3 also helped me. Good luck - keep trying!!

Totally agree, and make sure the edge of your zone 2 is flush to the nail before you apply your zone 3 bead over it......getting the zone 3 bead on before 2 sets up will help too as Cass said. So stop staring at it checking and doublechecking and triplechecking the mix lol!!!!

Yep work as if you were tiling a roof overlapping the product or you could also try double-dipping with a clear powder, this can help to eliminate the problem too. Pick up a bead of flawless (slightly wet) then dip into clear powder.

however did you know izzy!!! thanks so much chaps.. i sorta do layer like a roof tile zn2 &3 but perhaps its not flush enough to begin with and ill also try working faster..

make sure that your zone 2 bead is as flush as the nail plate near zone 3 as possible, so theres no obvious line ..its just reeeeealllly thin there reeeeeallly reeealy thin (did i stress the reeeaLy enough )
Then overlap your small zone 3 bead..
