French tips with Gel?

Hi,

I am doing my own head in and after a few tips of advice.

I love the pink and white look but am finding that my nails look squashed when applying white tips.
I want a thin smile line like this maybe slightly deeper

but using natural nails and applying white gel I am finding you see the natural nail underneath.
Applying white tips seem to go to far up the natural nail and when cutting to length look like a thick white smile like this

To get the look in the first picture (which are a beautiful set of nails btw) I use clear tips and then a pink gel which is semi-opaque. That way you can put your white where you want it and the semi-opaqueness of the gel hides the natural nail while still looking nice and natural.

I agree with the above, you can use natural tips for this effect too as tge opaque gel will disguise the tips anyway x
