Gel nails coming off!

Hi Everyone,
Have a few issues.I'm a new nail tech and have had problems with a couple of gel nails coming off in my customers luffah (how embarrassing).I have been using the Star Nail System, using a primer pen initially, until I purchased IBD bonder (is this a better product?).
Also purchased IBD ultra seal and just finished doing a clients full set of gels.After using the seal I cured for 1 minute but the finish was dull. I used finishing wipe after the cure.
I'm not sure what to do because we never used a sealer in my course.Can someone please enlighten me?Is it necessary?What do I use if not the finishing wipe..........and do I buff before using the Ultra Seal?

Can you not go back to your trainer and ask hun? they should be able to help, also are you mixing star nails with IBD products? as you should'nt mix and match most products are designed to work as a whole system xx

That looks like it might be the plan of action.Cosmo Prof wasn't much help when I asked about the different systems, basically left on my own.I've never had adhesion problems before, so it has to be something I'm doing, I just have figure it out.
