Help - my gels have cracked!!

I applied IBD gel (clear) over 2 natural nails for a client. Prep by the book, bonder 3mins, per instruction, builder gel- 3 layers, UV gloss topcoat. A week later my client has rung me to say both nails now look as i they have shattered. (exact words were - like a hammer dropped on a glass window)

My UV light is only 3 months old and been used 4 times so I am lost as to what has happened. She wanted to try it on 2 nails as next week I am due to remove her all acrylics and replace her newly grown nails with gel.

Any ideas welcome!!!!

Yes .. I'd stick with Liquid and Powder!

She is obviously too heavy handed for the amount of gel you used or it isn't strong enough for her full stop. In either case, nails don't shatter without force. She must've been doing something harsh with them. Stick with what she likes and with that which works for her. Liquid & Powder is much the best medium for thin or flexible nails.

Thanks for that! Was getting a bit panicky thinking I had done something wrong!!!:)
