Does anyone know the best way to remove Gel Nails?

I tried soaking a set off in acetone and it took ages and I still had to pick them off in the end (damaging my nail bed really bad).

thanks

Not all gels soak off....some are buff off only...and this takes an experienced nail technician to do it safely. Lesson well learned hun...go to a pro.

Thanks Angie,

It looks like I will be better off saving some money and attending a course to enable me to be able to apply and remove the nails correctly.

Thanks

This is the problem with being able to purchase DIY nail products....its all well and good them being in a box with a nice picture on the front showing a lovely looking set of nails....but without training they wont look like that.....its not your fault.

You obviously like nails and have an interest, save up for that course and who knows...maybe a new career ahead of you..:)

That is very true. I really do want to do my nails, and like you say, if I save up to do a course I will be able to do it eventually.

I am a total perfectionist and know that once I know how to do the nails correctly following training that I will do really well in applying lovely enhanced nails.

Thanks again!!
