I am still trying to get to grips with NNOs using OPI Axxium buff off gel. I have just done my own nails and noticed that two of the nails (thumb & pointer finger) are a little tender when applying pressure to the side of the nail. The tender spot is on the opposite side. Almost feels a little tight. I remember when I had my first L&P all nails felt sort of tight. Is this normal or have I done something wrong?
Also when you do enhancements past the free edge do you build the apex in several steps and flash cure in between to avoid heat spikes? Or do you cure for the whole 2min or just build the apex in one and cure?
Last one (at least for now :o) I did a soak off overlay two weeks ago which we took off today. It took me almost an hour to get the gel off. Having looked on several sites I noticed that I hadn't buffed before soaking would that explain why the gel just wouldn't budge? The natural nails were quite thin and had lots of ridges so buffing off the rest was a real pain. Is it okay if some of base gel remains in the "valleys"? Sorry to go on.
