Hi

It is personnal preferance I do all three systems, Acrylic, Gel and Silk/fibre glass.

My clients tend to have Acrylic for fingers and Gel on toes and once in a Blue moon I will have a client for Silk/fiber Glass.

Hope this helps:Grope:

Gel or Acrylic means nothing!

All gels are acrylic and so is Liquid & Powder and Wraps.

If what you mean is should you use gel or Liquid & Powder then look at the market. What is the most asked for service?

It is Liquid & Powder so that is where I would start if I were you. Might as well start with the service that is the most in demand. This has been L&P for more than 30 years. It would make better business sense if you want to make money doing nails.

i had to choose that and i choose acryic because that is the hardist one gel is easy to learn so if you do the hardist one then gel will be easier to pick up!! xx

i agree with above do acrylic first then the other systems will be easier to pick up

I wouldn't say Gel was easy to learn at all....some people find Gel harder, especially after learning L&P due to the differences in how to use your brush during the application.

The only way i would say gel might be considered easier is due the the fact that there is no mix ratio as the gel is ready to use.

I completely agree with Angie.

I do all systems ... each required its own type of excellence to create the most beautiful nail enhancements. Each system has its own challenges. NONE of them are easy or easier if you want to do the most gorgeous enhancements with that system.

Liquid & powder (when will people stop incorrectly calling it acrylic??) I would learn first, then your gels and then wraps as that is the demand in the market from our customers.

I have to disagree with you! I learned L+P first and did my Gel Induction 18 months later and I still find gel harder to get right...... I have more confidence in my L+P and I think I get better results with it.

To say gel is easy is an understatement IMO!

thank you so much for all your advice guys it helped a lot :Love::Love::Love::Love::Love::Love::Love:

Hi, I am a nail technician in spain. I was trained in acryin, fiber glass. We have recently changed to IBD Gel in the salon that I work for but I actally prefer to use L & P for mobile work. I am using NSI at the moment, I have no problems with it but which L&P would you recomend for being the product to use.
