Gel polish & psoriasis

Hi all,

I use IBD Gelac and Just Gel and wondered if there are any implications in using this or any other gel polish on someone with psyriosis, who there has very brittle nails.

Both systems require a small amount of buffing before application.

Anyone had experience in this?

Hi, I havnt got an exact answer for you but one of my clients has psoriasis, it has caused deep pitting in her nails. I use Gelish on her but she is lucky if it stays on even a few days so you may have a problem there. Its so annoying, she loves the Gelish and iv also tried the structure gel but it hasnt really helped that much as the pitting is so bad. Hopefully someone else can help

thanks for this - she didn't book an appointment in the end but i'll bear this in mind for the future and maybe not suggest gel polish on her as it would probably be a waste of money for her.
