Gel question, bit confused

Ive recently learnt arylic nail and thinking of trying gel nails, my question is do all gel nail products need uv light to set?

If it is a true oligamer gel then yes they do.

There are also L&P products that cure with a UV light that are not gels and ..

There are products that some call gel which does not need a light to cure but in fact is not really a gel at all.

No wonder you are confused!! :lol: But a true gel needs a UV lamp to cure and it needs the lamp that goes with the system. So if you buy CND you will need a CND UV Lamp if you buy IBD you will need an IBD lamp etc so be careful in your choice -- lamps are an expensive investment.
