Yesterday one of my regulars decided to have her gel overlays removed....(she is saving for her wedding).

She has been coming to me for 18 months and always been a great client.

After having her nails done at various places over the years she was quite shocked that once I had removed the gel her nails where so good.

They where strong, healthy and although she knows the extra strength from the gel is no longer there and she needs to adjust how she uses her hands again, is happy that her nails where not in the slightest bit damaged.

I did a lovely manicure afterwards, sealed all the edges with a buffer and they looked lovely....nothing was red, nothing was thin and nothing was bendy....

I would even say they where in better condition than when she first came.

What experiences do you have when you have a client that you can set free....??

What a lovely nail tech you are! I hope she spreads the word for you.

Great work Angie.

My hairdresser had her's removed just before Xmas & she said her nails had never looked so good & she was very shocked as she thought they'd be trashed.
There was not a mark on them.

I was pleased to, obviously!

Enhancements trash ya nails....what a load of tosh !!.....the worm is turning and hopefully we can lie to rest all those unfair rumours....

i did this with my cleint then i went on hols and she had a full set on by someone who trashed her nails completley , to the point where they were bleeding , because she had filed holes on them
her nails were perfect before i went away , and all my hard work was ruined in the space of 3 wks !!!

I had a lovely girl who came to me with a fistful of chomped nails, they were truly dreadful. I did tip and overlay for her (l&p) and she adored them, as her nails grew out they became nno's and she became a regular as clockwork client for about 12 months. I then removed the product for her when she was moving away from the area and she was thrilled to be sporting her own fairly long nails, in good condition and looking far too beautiful to bite!

She moved about 70 miles along the coast, about 18 months passed, and I never expected to hear from her again. So how chuffed was I when she returned for French l&p overlays for her wedding just before Christmas last year! And, having got totally out of the biting habit, she had kept her own nails looking beautiful!

I was so honoured to be the one she chose to do her wedding nails and I got a real kick of satisfaction from that.
