WHEN I WAS TAUGHT TO DO GELS, WE WERE TOLD TO REMOVE THE TACKY DISPERSION LAYER WITH ACETONE, DO ANY OF YOU GEEKS DO THIS OR IF NOT WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU USE:hug:
 
This is where the magical powers of the scrubfresh come in handy!
 
I use ScrubFresh to remove the inhibition layer too :D
 
Hello,

Light Elegance has a really nice cleanser that has no color dyes in it. It's a mix of acytone and alcohol.

Scrubfresh for me too! But perhaps you should be using whatever your brand recommends is correct for their particular product?
 
I use finishing wipe (sold in bottles) with gel it works well and leaves the nails residue free.
 
I use scrubfresh...i choose to buy it for my prep anyway so its like killing two birds with one stone...it does lots of jobs all in 1...great prep..cleans..removes oils...fight pathogons..temp dehydrates and removes the sticky layer...what more could i ask for...:)
