On reading the aftercare instructions for Gelish on one of these threads I just have one query. Could anybody tell me why customers are advised to be extremely careful for 24 hours after application? I don't want to be asked this by a client and then be stuck for an answer! :o

Be interested to know myself!! X

Where did you read this? I've never heard of that as a piece of aftercare advice.

I've just sent a message to Georgie. I will let you know the answer.

I wondered this too??

It's in the aftercare advice given by harmony x

Yes it is in the aftercare instructions. Does anyone know?

OK, so apparently, technically speaking, all gels take 24 hours to cure fully. This I would suggest is not something to tell clients as it might only encourage picking etc.

Personally, I have never seen Gelish or Gelicure chip or get damaged by a client in the first 24 hours.

Interesting also if you are doing a pedi. Most of us are applying our gels first and then doing the spa bits. I wonder if this has any affect on the product?? Not noticed anything adverse on my clients.

Mmm very interesting!
