Gelish cracking

I did Gelish last Friday and by Saturday it had cracked. What would the cause be?

Only the tips of some I should add. Saturday it was extremely cold out when I noticed it.

Maybe the white was a little too thick?
This can cause cracking.x

Yeah think it might be applied too thick. First coat should be a bit transparent. Build up the opacity with the 2nd coat
