Hi, insurance is based on the number of years continuous experience and/ or qualification (NVQ Level 2 -) along with confirmation of no prior claims/ incidents to ensure a standard risk for premium calculation purposes.

When obtaining premiums, always check the Treatment wording to ascertain what the insurance company deems a person qualified; a varitey or wordings particularly in relation to what is covered.

When buying insurance for Freelancers it may be possible to add stock/ equipment but usually only at the point the policy is purchased.

Good luck

Insurance with Babtac is brilliant and very safe bet, beauty assosiation. Not sure what is covered level 2 but will say eve Taylor for facials do a great mobile pack, they are really great products and reasonable price. Opi for mani's and pedi's. Get a light weight couch, a bag for towels couch roll and extension lead. A portable digital radio for doing a facial or massage. Put all your products into seperate storage boxes for seperate treatments so you just have to take the box you need. I put steralised tools into a Tupperware pot. Hth Hun, good luck. Xx

i haven't any advice as pretty much in same boat but just wanted to say well done on finishing your level 2 and good luck with going mobile! :D
