Hi
I was looking into opening an account with Jessica because I know that they do very good training and I need to update my skills in this area, particularly cuticle work and applying dark polish. Anyway the woman from their company phoned today to say I could'nt get an account with them because someone else in the same town is using their products and they wouldn't want to upset her by supplying me.
Does anyone know of any other good polishes that last and also anywhere in Scotland that does good nail training courses particularly polishing masterclasses. I would be very grateful of any info.

Please feel free to come along to our Open Day on Sunday, see Banner at top of the site pages!

Let me know if you are unable to att4nd I can send you some info.

Also, if you would like to put 'nail training courses Scotland' or any other derivative into the SEARCH box you will find lots of info and reading to keep you going:)

That's a shame, and I know it can be frustrating, but that's one of the reason's why I went with Jessica - there's nothing worse than building up a clientelle using a certain range & then someone opening next door to you using the same products. I personally prefer to use a range that gives some level of exclusivity rather than something everyone & their dog can use.

There are quite a few good polish companies - have you tried OPI? I used to use them & found they were very good quality & lasted ages.

Not to worry Hun. CND offer fabulous training! I could not speak high enough of their hard work and concentration and care that they put into their training. And also they have a fab range of manicure and pedicure products.

CND aka sweet squared are one of the top nail companies who produce fine and high quality nail products and in my eyes the best training one could get! They have also won many awards for their products!
Here is the sweet squared website there is a link on the education page for a catalog for you to look though Sweet Squared

I dont know if OPI do courses hun

I didn't know Jessica had that exclusivity - when I had it in my salon - anyone could have it.

I have seen 2 salons with it on the same road less than half a mile between them.

All I can think of is, the other salon must have a massive account that they fear they would close if they supply you.

I still think its a fab range - but tbh - creative products are every bit as good and well known so thats a help.

I believe the level of 'exclusivity' depends greatly on the area (i.e. whether village, town, city etc) & competition, as is the case with many skincare houses.
