Hey guys! (this is my first post).

I'm a mobile hairdresser and I'm keen to start doing mobile tans too.

Having done my research, I've found there's no fewer than 20 tanning solutions on the market!

My question isn't WHICH ONE is the best, but rather, what MAKES a solution the best?

Because as I read through this forum, different solutions definitely seem to give different results.

This confuses me because from what I've read, the only active ingredient is DHA, so as long as the DHA is of good quality, shouldn't all results for different solutions be, by and large, the same (for a typical DHA %)???

So what makes solutions like Sienna X, and Nouvatan (both of which get great reviews here) better than the rest? Are they using different active ingredients? Or do you think people are tricking themselves into thinking one is better than the other, perhaps due to a smell they prefer etc?

By the way, hi everybody, looking forward to getting to know you all

i can only speak for our solution and why i feel is the best around lol !
our solution is made from organically derived pharmaceutical DHA and it costs a fortune!! we were offered the same % synthetic DHA from other sources(china, eastern europe ) much cheaper when we were developing NOUVATAN but the results were not the same it was like comparing jack daniels to Netto bourbon we use British DHA derived from a secret source lol
we also wanted a fast drying tan with a good guide colour nice aroma and good fade off NOUVATAN has 100% natural active organic ingredients we do add a preservative as do all organic tans as the shelf life would be less than 14 days
Tans are like drinks, Moet and cheap white cider are the same percentage !! but do you want to be classy and look sun kissed and natural or look like an oompah lumpahh
some tans on the market contain de natured alcohol and parabens, ours does nt, de natured alcohol is basically meths and its a poison !! and parabens are a preservative with links to breast cancer
comparing tans just by the percentage is not a good analogy
ITS THE QUALITY OF THE DHA THAT COUNTS comparing tans by percentages would be like comparing cheap white cider to champagne lol
